Hello! This is Jen (Ben's oldest sister) Ben joined the Marines & was called up early to boot camp. He left Aug 28th, Swore in Aug 29th & then flew to San Diego, CA, until his anticipated graduation, Nov 21st. He will then continue training as military police. Ben wanted a way to keep friends & family updated, thus the purpose of this blog. We have received several letters & I will be posting them as written, without spelling or grammar corrections. Most importantly keep Ben in your prayers the next several months will be challenging physically, mentally, emotionally, & spiritually and as he stated in one of his letters "prayers are all we have to hold on to it is what keeps us sane & keeps us trying our hardest."
